Cookie policy
The cookies munchifunds.com sets, what each one is for, and how long it lasts.
This is a draft. It is being reviewed and is not yet in effect. It describes how the site works today; if you have a question about it, contact us.
The short version
We set cookies only when you sign in, and only because signing in doesn’t work without them. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.
The sign-in cookies
Name: begins with “sb-” and ends with “-auth-token” (it may be split into parts ending “.0”, “.1” and so on). Purpose: keeps you signed in as an organizer or staff member. Set when you sign in; removed when you sign out; otherwise lasts up to 400 days. Essential: yes.
Names: begin with “sb-” and end with “code-verifier” (one for each sign-in email you ask for, and one that keeps track of them). Purpose: part of how our sign-in service secures a sign-in that starts in this browser. Set when you ask for a sign-in email; not needed once you are signed in, but they stay until they expire, up to 400 days, or until you clear your cookies. Essential: yes.
Buyers placing an order are not signed in and get neither.
The security check
Our forms use Cloudflare’s security check to keep out automated abuse. It runs in a small frame served by Cloudflare, which may store what it needs to work under Cloudflare’s own policy. Munchi does not read or control it.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that isn’t essential, we will ask before setting it and update this page first.
